Why have I not posted for so long? Several reasons. I am very uncomfortable sharing my personals with anyone. Secondly, I am so busy learning that its difficult to find time to write~lol. Whew~that's a hoot, isn't it?
But today's post surrounds learning the ability to let it go. Now that is a major task for me, I say. I must learn to pick my battles, as they say. So today's report is I am learning to do just that. I mean, after all, any move toward this goal is considered progress for me. I have enjoyed today~no its not been perfect. BUT I am learning to enjoy the moment and not worry....not worry about so many things I have no jusidiction over. Just learning to enjoy the moment...yes, that is me today, learning to enjoy the moment.

I am learning to become a better teacher! alleulia! This past summer I attended a 4 day conference on how to become nationally certified. The conference was outstanding, as well as, the workload to submit to national...whew!

Monday I went back to school sooooo, my mind has been on overload.
The most important learning this week has taken place within my classroom. I tried to videotap my Guided Reading sessions on Monday and Tuesday to no avail. During one tapping, the battery died; another session,it was difficult to hear the students read because of the other students' disruptions and lastly, one student continually picked their nose thru the tapping! Enough is enough for this week.
Next week is a new week with new tapping strategies in mind.

I welcome the new year with this reminder: things are first confirmed by faith, second by sight~you must believe, then you will see. Remind yourself to be anxious for NOTHING...as many times as it takes....be anxious for nothing!

However, I am trying to learn a new Granny Square crochet pattern. After many attempt of trying to "read the crochet pattern", I decided to blog about it instead...ahem. It is so very good for me to attempt learning new things!

Always be open to the things God is calling you to learn. God never put us on a shelf to sit. He has equipped us to continually learn new things. Jeremiah 17:7,8 says we can remain like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the rivers and will not fear when heat comes. Our leaf can remain green for we do not need to be anxious in the year of drought. We will not cease from yielding fruit~alleulia!
